I used to run a small business and I can not tell you how much I learnt about how an individual's 'other side' (positive or negative) impacts your business.

If she can close leases on properties fast enough to meet or beat quota then I don’t give a damn if she spends her weekend snorting coke off a bathroom urinal while getting double penetrated by Ron Jeremy and Peter North (to the people who instantly knew those names… you are sick, of course I referenced them so what does that say about me?).

It says your opinion doesn't mean much in the real world.

Moreover, as far as interview presentation, I think it's more about making a good first impression than anything else.

Anything you wouldn't do the first time you're meeting a girlfriend's parents are things you also probably shouldn't do going into an interview with someone who knows nothing about you.

As far as attire goes, you certainly shouldn't be dressed any less than what you would be on an average work day at that job. If you're applying for a job that requires you to wear a suit and tie every day, you should wear a suit and tie to the interview. If you're applying to a job that allows you to wear flip-flops and shorts every day, then that should be acceptable at the interview.
